Human Resistance Force

Commander Antoine Winston

Commander Antoine Winston leads the HRF in New Austin, Texas, in their campaign to defeat Cifer and his Humech Militia.

Shortly before the rise of Cifer, Winston lost his family in an apparent industrial accident, but he has reason to believe that Cifer was responsible.

After the global Humech attack, Winston realized that his best chance to defeat Cifer was to ally with the HRF.

Lt. Casey Maxwell

Lt. Casey Maxwell is a pilot for the HRF, certified to fly the T-1 Modified Hover Pod (MHP). Prior to joining the HRF, Maxwell and his grandfather flew industrial pods to salvage scrap from the wastelands near Hondo, Texas.

An attack by renegade Humechs left Maxwell unconscious and alone in a hospital in Refugio. Maxwell escaped by flying a stolen Humech V3 Hornet, which he used to defend HRF troops against an assault.

Lt. Chuck Harvey

Like his trusted ally Commander Winston, Charles “Chuck” Harvey is a lifelong soldier. Initially he served in the Multinational Guard (MG) until joining the HRF after the Humech uprising.

Harvey was in New York City when Cifer attacked the United Nations and helped rescue civilians during the assault. Although his friends often chide him for his goofball sense of humor and fondness for karaoke bars, all recognize him as a resourceful soldier.

Tech Sgt. Gracie Meryl

Dr. Gracie Meryl is a pragmatic algorithm expert and a native of Hong Kong. Dr. Janaki Bhandari recruited Meryl for a covert assignment to secure Cifer’s blueprints, which she ultimately failed to do. Meryl barely escaped this incident with her life.

Shortly before the rise of Cifer, Winston lost his family in an apparent industrial accident, but he has reason to believe that Cifer was responsible.

Hoping to stop Cifer from causing more death and destruction, Meryl traveled to New Austin and joined the HRF as a Technical Sergeant.
